Happy Tears For Disney

The next group of pictures are from the last night of our trip when we decided to take T to Downtown Disney for dinner. We did not tell her where we were going just that she would be so excited and have so much fun. The first two pictures are of her when she saw Disney Land, she was pointing and crying because she was so excited and thought that we were not going there. The next is her giving me a “thumbs up” when I told her that we were going to Disney Land for dinner. It was a good thing that they stop selling tickets after 5 because I was so excited that I would have wanted to go into the park for a few hours. Anyhow, we had a lot of fun, T got to pick some things out at the store, she had cotton candy (yellow & she ate it all), She danced on the street for the Musicians, and at the end of the night they had fireworks. It was a really great night.

Water Please

This is a picture of T sleeping in the car after a long 40 minutes on the soccer field (same weekend as the beach). The high light of this soccer game was when T went up to one of the parents and asked if she could buy a water from them. They did have a huge cooler and they were all set up with their umbrella and everything, so I can see how she might think they were selling stuff. This was the first time that I had met any of the parents on this team so it became a great ice breaker, though it was a little embarrassing.

Beach Babe

The pics below are from Newport Beach where we spent the day last weekend while we were with N at a soccer tournament in Costa Mesa. It was a really great day, a little bit too hot and the water a little too cold. E met us for the day so it was really great to see her. T was excited about going to the beach; she however decided that she was not excited about the water. When we first got to the beach T was standing on the shore and letting the water run over her feet. After a few waves the water no longer ran over her feet but swept her feet out from under her placing her on her back. She was not in any danger, she was only in about an inch of water but she put her swimming skills to work and managed to cover her entire body with wet sand. After that incident she no longer wanted to even touch the water. There is one picture where she is sitting on the very back of her towel making a face of disgust, which was when I was asking her if she might want to walk in the water with me.
