Family Dinner Family Fun....

We had a little get together for sister and F since we were not able to celebrate their birthdays earlier....dinner was great and after the kids enjoyed a little water play. Just family fun!

Rocky Mountain High....

Over the holiday weekend we took a trip back to our old stomping grounds. We really had a great time filled with fun, smiles, laughter, soccer, sunburn (for me), friends, and just a really great time. Tae and Ash are sooo cute together....

Appointment went well. The Dr was very nice and we all felt comfortable. No update at this point, just got a script to get some labs done next week. He said currently T looks great (she didn't cough once while we were there, classic). Oh and her tubes are bright green, he let me take a look in her ears, I thought that was cool. I got a proud mommy pat on the back for amazing record keeping and T got some stickers. Painless appointment.

So today is the day we see #8...I have mixed feelings about the appointment, but I am keeping an open mind, as well as an upset stomach and a tight chest. I have my notebook of records, x-rays, & labs organized and ready for another viewing as well as the required (15 page questionnaire) paper work for the doctor's office. T took her last antibiotic on Monday night and like clock work she was coughing again last night. I hope you are ready for us #8.

Number 8....here we come....

Sorry to say but no real update on the whole T health situation, just a bunch of questions and not a lot of answers. She has been on antibiotics for the last 2 weeks, the cough is doing better, but we still have tonsillitis!!!???? We were referred to another pediatric specialist (hence, here we come # 8) and our original appointment was JUNE 18th, but our pediatrician called the specialist to discuss our case and we have been moved up to May 15th (and I'll leave the update at that). So in the mean time we are focusing on Tae, staying positive and trying not think of the maybes (easier said than done, the ignoring of the maybes). To look on the bright side our ENT, Pediatrician and this new specialist all know each other; they have already discussed Tae’s case via phone, so now instead of 1 doctor we have an actual TEAM. Go Team????? The power of 3??? PLEASE!!!

We made a decision that it would be best for Tae to have more home/family time, so thanks to a very understanding boss I am now working part time. We have eliminated the rushed mornings and the long days since I now pick her up right after she has lunch. We have already noticed a change in her attitude and her emotions, though she is still a tired girl going to bed around 7.

To add more to the mix over here I am proud to announce that N has started classes for his masters. I will begin classes at the end of the month to get my teaching degree and then hopefully someday we will all be on a similar schedule. Anyone have an extra arm that we could borrow????

Visits from friends....

A few weekends ago we had a wonderful afternoon with Gaga Deb and Papa Jack...(not really our gaga or papa but we love them just the same).

Then this past weekend we spent a morning with the Wells family, had a great breakfast and got to meet beautiful Andrew for the first time.
