Swimming....
Boats, Trains & Flying Dragons
Sunday we went to a local game park for some good times. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of water (gross water from the bumper boats), a lot of goofiness and FUN. We took too many pictures to post individually so check out the little video below. Oh and yes, they let adults ride the kiddie rides, lucky us!
I have to add a note about the bumper boats since we don’t have any pictures. They were frustrating and hilarious at the same time. The stream of water was designed to hit an adult straight in the face, or better yet straight in the ear when they turned their face. Tae was in charge of one boat (not solo-once with N once with me) and liked to spin it in a circle like a tea cup ride. On our ride together the spinning, besides making me feel a little sick, left us as an open target….more specifically ME since T is short and the water stream was aimed at my face! I laughed so hard I had tears, but that was our last trip on the boats. Thanks N & B.

Take me out to the......
Ball game! Uncle B came down for a few days this past weekend and we all went to the baseball game. The Dodgers were in town (which B is a fan of) and we had some pretty decent tickets (thanks to sister). Tae did surprisingly well and even though there was a playground in her sight we managed to keep her entertained and in her seat for the most part. The fact that she can hit a ball with a bat and has an idea of what a batter’s stance is helped immensely, not to mention it was disco night and they had funny pictures on the screen. A hilarious part was about half way through the game T realized that B was wearing the same hat as the players; she thought it was “awesome”. Then there was the bobble head figures they gave out when we entered the stadium, Tae broke hers in a matter of minutes and was walking around with the coach of the Diamondbacks head in one hand and his body in another. A big hit with the LA fans.
Speedy Banditos
Ok since I am so ridiculously behind on this post it is from the weekend before last, also explained as two weekends ago. We went and stayed at a hotel in North Phoenix and enjoyed the “River Ranch” which included a waterslide, lazy river and various swimming pools. We stayed up late, ate lots of snacks and spent HOURS in the sun and water. Fun was had by all, especially Miss T. A few pictures to enjoy but for the most part I put the camera away so mama could play!

Commando T
Mother Nature has her own rules and the fact that I was trying put a 4 year old to bed did not stop her from bringin’ on the monsoon season. We had our first big rain storm the other night and there was no chance of keeping T in her bed or her room. So rather than make a big deal I let her go out in the rain, under two conditions, no jammies (there is very slow water absorption here, lots of rain, lots of puddles, lots of MUD) and she had to take another bath when she came in. She agreed it was a fair deal and proceeded outside. Here are a few pictures of her, sorry the quality is pretty bad, but so was the weather.

Here she is....
Yesterday I was thinking that you all are probably forgetting what Miss T looks like. It has been a few weeks since I posted a picture of the girl and I am a little embarrassed to say about that long since I took a picture. So here are two that I snapped last night just to fill my “Good Mama” quota and satisfy the picture hungry people out there.
A quick update would be me up to my elbows in homework, N breezing through his, and Tae starting weekly swimming classes. I am still working part time but have increased my hours a bit, and I have to say I get the short end on that deal. Car is in the shop…AGAIN…not feeling warm and fuzzy about my car these days…and not wanting to fork out the dough for a new one. Wish I could just ride a bike, but that’s not going to happen. Other than that things are pretty normal. We had an awesome 4th with family, friends and lots of food, my sister made a little picture post about it click here to see; thank goodness she took some pictures!
I have a post I have been working on about plastic, might be a while so just know that plastic #7 is really BAD and you can find the number on the bottom of your items. Don’t buy food that comes in plastic #7.
Hope everyone is well. Here’s my little mama….
