As many of you know we have been going to Doctor after Doctor with Miss T. She has had reoccurring fevers and this horrible cough for almost a year now. We were very pleased when we found our pulmonary specialist and discovered T had asthma, not pleased for the asthma but at least an answer. He did not get an answer for the fever but were told that it was very likely a series of various viruses, which seemed likely since she does go to school. Things were good for a couple of months, still a little cough but not as horrible as before, at least we could all sleep. About three weeks ago we took T back to the pulmonary office because she had a fever and what seemed like a bug or some issues with her asthma, once again that famous word "virus" was the explanation that we were given. This past weekend T starting getting an extremely high fever of 105. We were able to bring it down but not get it to go away. On Monday I took her to our new (yes another doctor) Pediatrician and was told yet again, the high fever was due to a "virus". Monday night still a high fever, Tuesday morning we were at 105.4 and the Doctor still said "virus". Tuesday evening we were still at 105, you have to know that we have been giving her both Tylenol and Motrin (alternating) around the clock to try and bring this fever down and it still remained high. So last night I took T to the ER at Children's Hospital, they ran several tests and the main thing that they found is that she has advance pneumonia in her right lung. We are still waiting an a few test results to see where we stand with the infection. We will follow up with her Pulmonary Specialist on Friday and he will look at her test results and x-ray to see where we go from here. They would like to do some more tests and look a little further into this since it has been going on for so long and the fact that the pneumonia seemed to appear so rapidly. It may seem strange that I would write all this information on my blog for anyone to read but as far as I know it is our family and friends that look at this site and I would like everyone to know some of what is going on so that you can think happy thoughts for T. I know that she will be fine but it is a scary experience for all of us. Miss T is a brave and strong little girl and N and I are very proud of her. To think back on all the tests that she has had done over the last few months breaks my heart. Please keep us in your thoughts.

HBO BABY!!!!!!!!!
Please note these pictures of our little Buckeye fan......Miss T was on TV!!! HBO is running a series of documentaries about rival college football teams, the first of course being Ohio State Vs Michigan. There is a segment where they are talking about how all kids in Ohio have a baby picture in Ohio State gear, then they show a few pictures, one of a pregnant woman with a big O on her belly, then an infant, and then Miss T!!! She is standing to the side of a huge line of people, I remember exactly when it was taken. She is dressed as a cheerleader, just like these pictures - same day. We were waiting in line to watch the band warm up and a reporter took her picture. I thought it was cool that she might be in the paper, never thought she would be on HBO. So the special is called
"The Rivalry" watch it if you can.

Miss T wanted to wear a pretty dress for Mommy's Birthday & have curls in her hair too.

Tae took a birthday picture of me, maybe she should have stood up to take it, I look like a giant amazon woman. She is pretty good with the camera though.

My Office all pretty....

My favorite candy bar.

Flowers from my sweet Hubby!

The Floor was covered with balloons.

The "Birthday Queen" crown and flashing lei from silly Sister.
