Good Bye Vietnam.....

We are excited girls....we are packed and ready for our flight tomorrow...It is 11pm on Wed night and I am too excited to sleep :) Our flight leaves at noon (Thursday here) and we arrive home Thursday at 9pm and NO the flight is not only 9 hours....hahaha...crazy...we will have fun times on the plane with a 17 month old and a 14 month old...I guess I should say endless crazy hours on the plane. The rest of the lagging posts for the trip will have to wait a few days. I better get some sleep...big day tomorrow!

Hello Hanoi....

Our last stop was Hanoi, Northern Vietnam. Henry received his Visa!!!! We had a 2 days to relax….or I guess I should say walk.

Ho Chi Minh City...Like Tourists...

Since we were back in Ho Chi Minh City we decided to do a little more exploring…we initially returned to the same market (Ben Thanh Market) we went to when we first arrived but after walking through the food section (aka the meat market) and a horrible shopping experience we ventured out into the city. Henry was adjusting fairly well, though he was grieving and having a hard time in the hotel room, which only justified our walking adventures even more. We did a lot of walking, it felt great, it was nice way to see the city and we had a great time talking and laughing as we saw the very unique aspects of the city (like a huge oil painting of Mary-Kate and Ashley…haha). We were in Ho Chi Minh City from the 18th to the 22nd, on the 22nd we flew to Hanoi...which is in Northern Vietnam...Here are some pictures from our 3-4 days in Ho Chi Minh City….

Leaving Hoi An......

Today (Thursday) we are leaving Hoi An and returning to Ho Chi Minh City. We will drive back to the Da Nang Airport (about 1.5 hours) this morning and our flight leaves early this afternoon. We are making an early dash to the beach, since we haven't had an oportunity to make it down there....very much :( Hoi An (link to our hotel) is the only city we will visit that is on the coast. Gotta go take advantage of the warm China Sea!
