Today we had breakfast at the hotel…only the 3rd day so far that we have been able to have a sit down breakfast…boohoo I know. Shortly after, we went to an orphanage in Hoi An…this is an orphanage for older children…we stopped to purchase treats for the children and also took toothbrushes and toothpaste (thanks Mama J for your contribution). Class was in session when we arrived but we were able to visit with a few girls and then go into a classroom a bit later. In an odd way it was a little reassuring to talk to these older girls, they were very intelligent, happy, thoughtful girls. All the children have their own rooms at this facility and they are able to keep their own personal items. All the children were very sweet, with beautiful smiles and happy eyes.
