Going Hip-Hop....

We had a really great weekend. Saturday started with dance, which T is doing an awesome job in. During her ballet class the teacher asked her to demonstrate the jump they were learning (very basic, with a fancy name that I can’t remember) she was so proud and I know I couldn’t contain my proud Mama smile (silly I know). After dance we met some friends at the Children’s Museum. We really love the museum and I am so glad it opened because we have been missing the one in Denver :( Unfortunately the battery was dead in the camera so I don’t have any pictures of the good times. However, on Sunday we went to Octoberfest…well we actually went to Kinderfest…more our pace…and I had the fully charged camera in hand.

T is going to be a butterfly for Halloween (she decided that last Halloween…she has the memory of …I don’t know…ME) and I still need to figure out her costume. The items it must contain are wings (of course), noisy shoes, glitter on her eyes, a tutu, a leotard, and fancy tights. I think it will probably be similar to the bee costume.

We have two birthday parties this weekend….these birthdays are becoming a frequent social event…fun but exhausting. They are ALWAYS on the same day, and usually back to back. This weekend they overlap by an hour, haven’t figured out how to pull that off yet.

The math skills I once possessed with such pride…well…they must have left the building a long time ago. I am struggling through my current math class….Oh the joy of learning!

Enjoy the pictures….Remember T???? It’s been a couple of weeks since you saw the kiddo.

These are always fun to watch...

Paddle Boats....

I think this is the most horrifying ride ever created. Just taking this picture, I feared I would be crushed by a flying passenger (who's chains maybe weren't that secure)!!!!

Getting her craft on..

On our way back to the car T pulled her visor to the side and announced she was "going hip-hop". She asked us to sit down so she could dance for us, she then preceded to do some fancy footwork and some twisting around on the ground with some stomping. When she was finished she walked away with a little strut. In this picture she is telling me "hip-hop girls don't like to get their picture taken!" She CRACKS me up.
