So….I am home and getting back into the daily grind…Tae had a little bug when I first got back, but she is feeling much better now. N is on a break from school so it makes the transition a little easier. So, back at work, back at school and off to a running start. I just need to remember to breathe :)
Yesterday I started my first round of hormone producing and ovulation inducing pills and I am having mixed feelings regarding this decision. I am also experiencing a decent amount of yuck from the additional hormones, but that doesn’t have anything to do with my feelings since I felt this way before I started them..???.. Anyhow, I am feeling a little defeated and a little excited at the same time. I don’t think anyone is ecstatic about turning to an outside source to achieve a pregnancy, even if the method is fairly common. Plus, adding extra hormones to my body pretty much goes against everything I try to maintain in my daily life, but those little belly babes are just so darn desirable and I WANT ONE. If you are looking for something to think about…think about a baby for the F Family so I don’t have to repeat this process too many times.
On another note Tae and I have been on a craft kick…we started a knitting project together, at her request!!! Yesterday we started to make our own recycled paper, a little bit of a timely process but T has been very patient. Our other big daily activity is board games… She loves them, but only when she wins…she is only four so I guess that is understandable. If someone else wins, the rule is you have to keep playing until she wins, then the game can be over….Cute, right?
Vietnam was a great experience. I am really grateful and honored to have been a part of such a unique life experience. My sister truly has a huge heart that seem to have no boundaries…I admire her bravery and determination. I honestly have not been able to completely process the whole trip; many aspects have affected me emotionally…more than I originally anticipated. I am sure I will have more to say with time.
Have you noticed the daily quotes on the top of my side bar??? There are some really great ones.
