I am going to stay where I am for now, however I may relocate at some point in the future. I will let you know if I do and of course I would want you to go with me :)
My plate runneth over, over here. But I am managing, grasping at each task as it starts to slide towards the floor. Slowly giving each task the attention it so desires and completing it before I move on to the next. There is always a next…such is life.
Tae and I went to a birthday party yesterday. A much needed outing. We were both excited. It was at a jumpy place or as Tae calls it a place to bounce off the walls. I had a little built up ‘something’ so I was eager to bounce off the walls a bit. This Momma, who is inches away from being 30, doesn’t sit and watch at parties…I PLAY. I had a blast. Not more than 2 minutes in I lost the skin that covers my left elbow. I had to go to the front desk and get doctored. It didn’t stop me. About 30 minutes later while trying to win another parent’s challenge I lost my thumb nail. Well it’s not lost yet but I don’t think it will be around for much longer. The thumb was the kicker. Instead of the long part of my nail just breaking off, the nail decided to be strong and just detach from my finger. I am surprised they didn’t ask me to leave. I had to go back to the front desk, this time bleeding all over myself and have them help me AGAIN. So I basically got my butt kicked while I tried to ‘bounce off the walls’…Oh, but I had so much fun! When we went to the car Tae said “Momma what happened to you? You are covered in band-aids!”
I whined a bit last night because I was in a little pain. It’s all about the challenge. I remember I played basketball once, without shoes, for so long that I ended up getting blisters on the bottoms of my feet. I sometimes wonder where the sporty athletic part of me has gone. There was a time when that was my every day. Tae has really sparked an interest in tennis, so I might have an outlet there. We’ll see.
Still working on the Raffle website…should be finished soon. I am a little preoccupied with my current class but this is the final week so once that is out of the way I should have it up and running in no time. I have received some really great items so if you like jewelry or cute baby gear you should definitely check it out.
Remember...LIFE is about the little moments...
