2/30…8 x 5….

...That is the size of the garden box (? Not sure what the proper word is) my Daddy made for me today…8 x 5!!! I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I am REALLY excited. I was still on the fence about actually committing to this new challenge (a challenge I have never successfully completed) but when my dad showed up today ready to buy lumber…I guess I kind of got knocked off the fence and straight into the garden! It will be a process and I will add some pictures as it turns into something worth viewing.

Earlier, as the sun was setting (and the heat wave subsided), I began to rake the back yard, not to prepare for impending snow, but to plant winter grass. This makes me laugh a little because it seems so bizarre. I am getting ready to plant a garden and plant green grass because it is time to enjoy the backyard, but that is quite the opposite of what other people are doing right now. Last week it was about 60 degrees and T was begging me to wear gloves to school (we could only find one glove so it didn’t work out). I am sorry, we don’t miss the snow.

T had her first teeth cleaning today. She rocked it and is still in love with going to the dentist. I am hoping she keeps up this enthusiasm for a LONG time. Her teeth are great, they didn’t have to remove any yuck and she is right on track. It was freaky to see her full head x-ray (standard at 5) and see all the adult teeth crammed up in her face…kind of creepy.

That’s all I’ve got…a “Yeah” for Poppy and some random babble…night night!
