Halloween Party: We had a great little Halloween party for the cousins. We all had a wonderful time and the kids seemed to enjoy all the games I created. Bobbing for apples was definitely a hit and T continued to practice for days after the party.
Pumpkin Patch: We returned to the same pumpkin patch we have visited the past two years. We went with friends this year and that was a nice change. Tae always loves going to this farm and is excited that she knows everything they have. I think N and I are a little less excited about knowing everything they have…we might have to try a new place next year…or maybe not?
I am in love with this picture of the two of them...I know he is telling her something mischievous.
School Carnival: T is at a new school this year and we did not have our Halloween parade that we normally do…instead she had a carnival!!! It was the BEST. The elementary students create all the games and booths and the smaller kids enjoy. T had a blast and came home with a huge bag of prizes.
Pumpkin Carving: frightening for Mommy to give a knife to a five year old…but we survived and she was so proud.
Love this one too...deep in thought...
Goofy glasses...make me laugh...one of her great prizes from the carnival.
The Pirate: this is T in her costume. She was posing “pirate” as she put it. I loved her costume this year and she did too. I am happy and proud to say that I made it…and I DID NOT HAVE A PATTERN! I even made the white shirt from scratch. To some this is normal…for me, not so much. I was giddy, dancing around the house with my 'I ROCK' face on! T lasted about an hour for trick-or-treat and was home, bathed and in her jams by 8. She is fascinated by Halloween (her 2nd favorite holiday) and as much as she tries to be big about the spooky costumes, they really freak her out. Love my little girl.
Awesome pirate costume. Yes, I'd be extremely proud if I were you! Congrats! Super, ridiculously cute pics, as always.
